In the city I live in, there's a little drink & treat shop called "slurp." Someone bought a nearly century-old house & fixed it up & gave it a modern/urban/organic twist. It's kinda where local teenagers & families with cute toddlers hang out & I am definitely not an exception! {I mean, their sugar cookies with thick pink frosting are DIVINE & my also I'm secretly addicted to their jacked Dr. Pepper with Half&Half. Try it.}

Today I was lucky enough to meet up with Kelsey {read her blog, it's poetic & wonderful & she's beautiful} to get drinks & chat about life. She & I went to the same middle school but different high schools. We knew each other because we had mutual friends, but we had never really talked until today. As awkward as a random meet up with someone you hardly know sounds, it was anything but that. We have a lot in common {besides the fact we have the same name, of course!} she likes photography & thrifting & we just got along. So thank you, slurp & Kelsey for the fun evening.
